Blythe 10 Happy Memories opened at Parco Factory!

Last night was our opening reception at Parco Factory to commemorate Neo Blythe's 10th anniversary.

There are three elements to our event: 10 Happy Memories, the retrospective of all of the Neo Blythe made in the last 10 years, Petite on Parade, the exhibition at Parco Logos Gallery featuring all of the Petite Blythe made, and the Blythe special menu at the cafe Mo on the 1st floor of Parco.

There are special custom Neo, Middie and Petite Blythe made just for this event hosted by Junie Moon's Blythe summit.

Blythe 10th Anniversary Exhibition “10 Happy Memories” at PARCO FACTORY ブライス10th アニバーサリー展覧会 『10 Happy Memories』

When Blythe made her refreshing debut in Japan, she starred in a television commercial for Parco department store. She’s been a fashionable trendsetter since! Blythe’s 10th anniversary event is a celebration for a decade of her work. In honor of this momentous occasion, the event will be held at Shibuya Parco Part 1 at Parco Factory. You may remember Blythe had her start in Japan from the legendary Parco Christmas commercial and campaign.

The retrospective of 170 Neo Blythe dolls are presented in their entirety from the very first Neo Blythe “PARCO Limited” to all of the 10 Anniversary dolls, collaboration dolls and more. This is your chance to see the complete line up. Come celebrate Blythe’s 10 Happy Memories!

We are looking back on the past 10 years of Blythe, remember all of the happy memories. Only one week until the grand opening party for the 10th Anniversary event at Parco Factory! How fitting to bring Blythe back to the Parco branch that debuted the first ever Neo Blythe.

Phoebe Maybe is our new girl! フィービーメイビーは私達の新しい女の子!

Okay so what was difficult about making her? Everyone always wants to know the process.
The fabric was hard to find in those colors but those colors meant everything.

We had a design to print on the suitcase but couldn't in the end because of costs.

Anyway, she is a TIME Traveler! Yes she is! And so she is always carrying around her suitcase on her quantum travels.

It's up to you where you want to take her. So have fun dressing her up according to her travels - whenever that may be. She might be heading back to the 60's to meet up with Andy Warhol or just back to yesterday because it was such a great day!

フィービーメイビーを作る時、どこか一番難しいところ？、とよく聞かれます。ドールがどうやって作られるかのプロセスを知りたいですよね。
今回の洋服の生地はとても重要で、見つけるのがとても難しかったのです。ちゃんとした色合いの生地を見つけられたので、とてもうまくまとまりました。

スーツケースにもデザインをいれたかったのですがコストなどの問題もあり実現出来ませんでした。

そういった事情はともかく！

彼女はタイムトラベラーなのです！だからいつもスーツケースを持っているんですね。

Manu Transformed

Manuhealii is the star at the Junie Moon Sunshine Festival. She was transformed into a new look by some outstanding artists and designers. Take a look at a few.Every one is different. Some of the artists commented that they haven't customized a dark skin Blythe before and that it was really fun to do. We really got a variety of looks. Getting ready for the hot summer days. I know I'm getting some kind of tan even with my daily SPF 30.

マヌヘアリイはJunie Moonで行っているサンシャイン・フェスティバルのスター。素晴らしいアーティストとデザイナーたちが、彼女を全く新しく変身させました。たとえばこんな感じです。全てが違う雰囲気ですよね。アーティストやデザイナー達は日焼け肌ではカスタムが初めてだったので、とても楽しかったようです。バリエーションもたくさん！夏を先取りしてみませんか？

Sunshine Festival at Junie Moon

The sun is bright and the day is getting longer. Summer will be here soon! Golden Week will be here even sooner. Can't wait to dance at the Venus Fort Hawaii Festival - Aloha for Japan! There's two shows from 13:00 and 15:00. We are selling Manu there too and will donate to the Aloha for Japan fund. In the meantime, we are also having a line up of sun tanned lovelies at Junie Moon starting today. Don't forget your sunscreen!

Junie Moon Online Donates to Japan Red Cross

The Junie Moon international online shopping site has been donating 5% of all net sales to Red Cross Japan to benefit tsunami and earthquake relief efforts. Each person who made a purchase on our site has helped to contribute to these relief work.

Due to the continued need for support, we are extending the donation time until the end of April.
