Blythe Birthday Party at Osaka Junie Moon

Neo Blythe made 13 years old on June 23.  In Osaka at the Junie Moon Salon a birthday bash was held and lot's of people came to wish her well.

Everyone took pictures in the rose garden ( photo booth) and ate delicious rose cookies, shopped for new wardrobe created by artists just for this event.

The next tea party will be in September and guaranteed to be a lot of fun as well!

Regina Irwin and Contessa Margarita are coming to bring happiness to your day!

I took them on a stroll and had a great time taking their photos. These are special places in my home town that made wonderful backgrounds that reflect their regal personalities. One of the places I used as location was the high school I graduated from! And another location was the royal palace of the Hawaiian King and Queen. 

It was a good day! We can't wait to share these lovely girls with the world.

Celebrating 10 Years of Junie Moon

In 2004 our shop Junie Moon of lovely Blythe dolls and all things that make us smile opened in Daikanyama. It seemed like only yesterday when we decorated the doors with flowers and the windows with lovely dolls and opened the doors for all Blythe fans to enjoy.

2004年にジュニームーンを代官山でオープンして早10年、

初めてあのドアを開けたのが昨日のように感じます。

今までちょっとずつ外装や店内のレイアウトは変わりましたけどエ

ッセンスはあの時から変わらず、ブライスドールを中心としたブライスファン必見のショップです。色々なグッズやドレスセット、ブライスをモチーフとしたアートまで見に来れるところに作り上げました。

 

The facade did change a bit here and there over the last 10 years but the essence remains the same. It's a place to come and see the line up of recent releases, a little gallery where Blythe art can be displayed and doll clothes to fill your tiny closet. And tons of Blythe souvenirs to give away, or keep for yourself.

We are celebrating the 10 years with a variety of premium gifts for our valued customers. These are thank you gifts for the loyal customers.  We started off with a paper craft gift card, that you can cut out and make your own miniature Junie Moon shopping bag.  The next premium are for the customers who buy Ashley from Junie Moon. We are giving away a ribbon for Ashley's hair. First come first serve. We only have a small quantity available so must hurry.

Over the ten years at Junie Moon, we had many exhibitions, workshops and tea parties. We had Halloween parties, Christmas Parties and  of course, Anniversary Celebrations for Blythe. "Romantic Heroine" exhibition features international artists

4月22日（火）より代官山Junie Moonギャラリースペースにて「Romantic Heroine」を開催します！

"Romantic Heroine" a group exhibition of 8 international Blythe artists that were featured in the book "Metamorphoses" opens at Junie Moon Gallery Space from April 22 (Tues) to May 11 (Sun).

日本国内にとどまらず、いまや世界中にファンを抱えるブライスドール。
世界の国々で今日も、ブライスの新しい魅力を引き出すドール作家達が生まれています。

We have a rare opportunity to see in person the works of international Blythe artists. The strength and beauty of these original one of a kind Blythe doll will inspire us all.  New artists are on the rise every where in the world.

次回の店内ギャラリーでは、9組の海外ドール作家にスポットを当てた合同展「Romantic Heroine」を開催いたします！

There are 9 groups of doll designers that are featured in this exhibition titled "Romantic Heroine".  All of these 12 handmade dolls of exquisite quality as well as dress sets by Trio are available for purchase from April 26 (Sat). The book that features these artists "Metamorphoses" will also be available for purchase.

Though we in Japan have seen the work of many international artists on Facebook and Flickr, and in the book "Metamorphoses", this will be a first time for us to see these works of art in person. It is very exciting to know that they traveled around the world to get here for us to view.

Botega Venetta x Blythe at Omotesando Hills

For years CWC held the annual Blythe Anniversary Charity event at Omotesando Hills. Great big billboards of Blythe graced the facade of this elegant high end shopping mall located smack in the center of Harajuku many times. Tonight I went there to see Blythe being used again, large and grand, in the window of Bottega Veneta, the world famous fashion brand known for their intricate and stylish design details and excellent workmanship. What an impact she is making. It was freezing cold tonight but every person who passed by stopped to look to take photos or just to give commentary about their impression about this great big model. One thing for sure, this window display is going down in Blythe history. Glad I got some photos!!

Umeda Hankyu Blythe event begins February 17th!

A charity exhibition will be held at the Umeda Hankyu Department Store, Main Building 9th Floor from Feb. 17 to the 25th featuring one off Blythe dolls! These dolls were customized, dressed and made up by 85 talented artists and designers in various creative fields. The funds raised from this auction will be donated to the NPO "Children Without Borders" designated for children living in the Northern regions of Japan affected by the 2011 natural and nuclear disaster.

Junie Moon will also be featured at the exhibition with a pop-up shop of Blythe goodies.
