Regina Irwin and Contessa Margarita are coming to bring happiness to your day!

I took them on a stroll and had a great time taking their photos. These are special places in my home town that made wonderful backgrounds that reflect their regal personalities. One of the places I used as location was the high school I graduated from! And another location was the royal palace of the Hawaiian King and Queen. 

It was a good day! We can't wait to share these lovely girls with the world.

Sneak Peek of the 12th Anniversary Neo Blythe Allie Gabrielle

We've been getting a lot of inquiries about this gorgeous girl gracing the cover of the recent clear file and Blythe stationary goods.  Yes, it's true, she is the 12th anniversary Blythe due to come out in fall this year.  There are a few very special details about her that will be revealed in my next blog entry. She will also be the cover of the 2014 schedule book, and will be featured doll for June in the 2014 wall and desktop calendar.

One small detail. Her name is Allie Gabrielle and there will be only 2013 dolls made in all! A very special girl indeed!

Blythe at Le Perouse Bay

Le Perouse Bay is surrounded by a sea of lava rock that flowed from the dormant Volcano "Haleakala"  sometime in the 17th century.  The landscape is black, rocky,  and  immensely vast. It  made me feel vulnerable and humble in the hands of an unpredictable God.  The rocks are really sharp and the trail is narrow and winding. You can see the back of Haleakala to your left as you walk and the never ending ocean to the right with equally rough waves crashing down on the lava. After awhile we found a tiny beach surrounded by thorny kiawe trees and heard some goats.  Even the goats were black!  It was pretty apocalyptic. A perfect location to photograph this Blythe.

まだ火山活動をおこなっていた17世紀ごろに流れでた溶岩に囲まれたLe Perouse
Bay。ゴツゴツした黒い溶岩が見渡す限り広がっています。大きな神さまの手によって作られた世界に入り、人間の小ささや感じ、いつも謙虚さを忘れてはいけないことを心に誓わずにはいられません。とても鋭く尖った溶岩のなかの狭い道は曲がりくねっています。普段見慣れたハレアカラの後ろ姿を左側に眺めながら歩くと、右側には溶岩と同じように荒々しい波が打ち寄せる海がずっと続くのです。しばらくすると、小さなビーチがあり、近くのキアヴェの林のなかを野生のヤギが歩いていきます。なんと、ヤギも黒！
まるで何かの終わりを感じるような場所は、このブライスの撮影に最適ですね。

We've been secretly working away at CWC on two new exciting collaborations.

What do we have in store for Fall? I'm pleased to present, our next collaboration with Japanese lolita fashion brand, BABY THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT. Here is Neo Blythe "Hoshinonamida Hime". Her name translates to "Princess with tears of stars". Our new sweet lolita princess will warm your heart.

秋の新しいCWC限定ブライスの紹介です！

こっそりCWCでふたつのコラボドールのプロダクションに励んでいます。

秋には何が待っているのでしょうか？今回、凄く楽しみなのがロリータファションを代表する、BABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHTのコラボドールです。下の写真はBABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHTの「ホシノナミダヒメ」です、きっと皆様の心を温めると思います。



The next big collaboration is very exciting too! Manga legends CLAMP have worked with us to make a Neo Blythe "B2Holic" based from their smash hit manga and anime xxxHOLIC. Her designed is based on the character Yūko Ichihara from the xxxHOLIC story. She's exotic and mysterious!

CLAMPとのコラボレーションもとっても楽しみです！漫画家として常に第一線を走るCLAMPが作ったドールは「xxxHOLIC」をベースにした、B2Holic！彼女のデザインはxxxHOLICのキャラクターの壱原侑子をベースにしたデザインです。彼女はエキゾチックでミステリアスな女の子です。
